We joined the WOOF sites for both France and Germany.
Then, we selected areas that matched our route. Our plan was to hitchhike and take-the-train from one destination to the next.
Our rough itinerary was this: We would alternate between Couchsurfing and WWOOF’ing as we traveled through France and Germany.
As her Dad had mentioned, Raegan had hitchhiked before. She was adventurous and smart. I looked forward to traveling with her.
I introduced Raegan to the young family and told them that once we got to France, we (Raegan and I) would head off on our own. They said they understood and that we would hang out on the ship and probably meet up here and there in Europe.
Like pages of a calendar being torn by gale force winds, the days were flying from beneath our feet, until the morning arrived for our departure.
